Original M20 4-speed had served well over the years and it's known to withstand quite a lot of beating. Ours was upgraded with Hurst shifter and it was a really nice box to shift. However with the current trend of Pro Touring, the power levels were up, handling and ride were better than ever, modern day tires and larger diameter wheels made sure that the car was now really good to drive on the twisty roads but the lack of overdrive gear and 3.70 final ratio made the choice of swapping an 5-speed TKO 600, from Tremec ,really easy for us.

With the new transmission it's easy to launch of the line and cruise at highway speed. Some say that it's good for the fuel economy as well, I'd say it's not a Prius Hybrid with the new transmission but way better mileage than before. I got the whole perfect fit conversion from "the driven man". They are distributors for Keisler stuff. Very helpful people with a great product.
