After installing the Shafiroff build engine in the car it was obvious that handling needed to be sorted before any serious driving could be done. I have never been a big fan of the old steel leaf spring, so I decided to do a full coil over conversion all around.

I found a kit from a Germany based Corvette shop called ACP and they offer a coil over kit for C1-C6 Corvettes. Kit uses Bilstein shocks. I can't believe how well the car rides and handles now.

Biggest alteration you need to do, is to weld the rear coil over mounting brackets to the trailing arms. Other than that it's pretty straight forward job. I will do a more throughout write up on it soon.

Front uses semi coil overs. Carrera double adjustable shocks and springs Ride height is very easy to adjust now both front and back. I set the car to sit approx. 2" lower than stock. I like the stance yet I can still get over all the speed bumps easily.
