In case to have a good handling car you are going to need top notch suspension. Old worn out stock suspension can be a real hazard to you and everyone else on the road.

I wanted to get the car handle more like 1999 Corvette than a 1979. Most interesting suspension package came from Vette Brakes & Products. The kit includes our crossmember reinforcing disc kit, poly differential mounting bushing, trailing arm bushings, stainless steel shim kit, complete poly front end rebuild kit and MIG welded upper and lower control arms. It uses composite mono leaf springs on both ends, which are adjustable.

Rear suspension with new Koni's
It uses composite mono leaf springs on both ends, which are adjustable. I really liked how my car turned out to be with this suspension kit. I have the whole car set really low and front end is set on medium hard and rear is soft.

If you were to compare the ride to Cadillac it might be harsh but this car was built for hard driving, so ride comfort wasn't the priority here. It still isn't racing car stiff either.
