Most of the modern-day cars are equipped with rack n pinion steering. I wanted more accurate steering with all the play removed that you get with stock steering set up. I chose the easy way, Steeroids. It's a bolt-on deal with all the components you'll need to make this conversion. The installation was a piece of cake, but adjusting it can be a tricky thing.

I had to make a dent on one of the primary tubes to clear the steering joint. No biggie, since I'm running big Stahl headers anyway. I also had to notch my custom made oilpan, another no-brainer for most of you, since it'll clear stock BB oilpan with ease.

After adjusting it properly the steering feel is now very good. I get a lot fo input through the steering wheel. I have heard people making comments on how they feel that their steering is almost numb-like. As I studied this further, I found out that there are two versions available of the rack that is used with the steeroids. One is sport rack and one is regular. Sport rack needs a little more effort to turn, just the way I feel mine is.
