Custom Made Gauge Panels

Before the body off restoratiom only the water temperature gauge was showing accurate readings so I decided to ditch the whole stock system in favour of some cool Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges. I got the 200mph 5" Mechanical speedo, 10K Rpm 5" Tach. For the center gauge cluster I installed Water Temp., Oil Pressure, Fuel Level and Volt gauges along with a matching Quartz Clock all in 2 5/8 size.

We mounted the Speedo and Tach in stock location, but we machined a cool billet aluminum panel for them first. Oval shaped holes were made for the instrument lights. For the center cluster we used sheet aluminum and mounted all 5 gauges to it.We also made a new center console from the same material. In the center console we mounted a A/C and heater control panel from Vintage Air. Nice detail is the stainless steel shifter hole surround, polished of course.
