When
I took the body apart from the frame
I had good opportunity to check the body for any
damage. I was lucky to find that the body was
damage free. So no hard body work was needed. |
Old
paint job was in good shape so I went with a respray.
I went from red to black. I had everything painted
as seperate pieces, this way the colour change
was more complete. |

I
took out the factory painted window trim pieces,
used paint remover to get rid of the paint, then
polished them shiny as new. In my opinion shiny
chrome makes a great match with the new black
paint. |

One of the
small custom touches I did was to get rid of the
reverse lights and replaced them with stock tail
lights. Now I have 4 stock tail lights working
as tail lights, brake lights and turning signals.
And they look good now! |

I
swapped all the old worn out emblems for new ones
as well as all the light lenses and the front
grilles. Outside wise everything is brand new. |
