The
heads I'm using are Edelbrock
Performer RPM Oval-Ports (#6045). The
heads came fully assembled, but only thing we
ended up using from them were the valves. Everything
else was changed to better quality stuff. Crane
roller rockers and valve springs were installed.
One
of the main things I wanted to do to this engine
was the EFI conversion. Again we used the quality
products from Edelbrock.
The unit is Edelbrock
Pro-Flo multipoint EFI. It doesn't require
laptop to get it tuned and it is very easy to
install. I'm planning to do better coverage about
this conversion later on.
The
camshaft, lifters, pushrods, rockers and stud
girdles are all made by Crane
Cams. I'm using roller stuff
here to get the maximum reliability. I have LS6
forget crank and forget rods to keep the reliability
going.
We
made custom made, Hi-volume, oil pan to get extra
oil capacity. The valve covers and air cleaner
are from Edelbrock's
Elite family.
One
of the best looking bits of the whole motor is
the March
Serpentine Conversion. It uses polished billet
aluminium multi groove pulleys and awesome looking
billet brackets.
